FESTIVAL FOOD AND WINE
The festival offers a variety of dining and hospitality options in the beautiful walled gardens of the castle.
Formal dining (must be pre booked and pre paid) takes place under canvass in a secluded corner of the gardens in a dining room that can accommodate 250 guests. This years Italian inspired menu has been created by Eunice Power and costs just €45 per person. Please click on the picture at the right for making your reservation.

Focaccia bread, olive oil and Balsamic vinegar
Auricchio Burrata with extra virgin olive oil
Heirloom Tomatoes with basil
Roast chicken stuffed with Italian sausage, soft herbs and breadcrumbs, balsamic jus
Roast potatoes, fennel and garlic, with green beans and cannelloni beans
Dressed summer leaves
Dessert (served at interval)
Tea and coffee
Dining serving time 5.30pm, last orders 7.15pm
Informal dining (must be pre booked and pre paid) takes place in the lower garden beside the main hospitality area. Also Italian inspired and created by Eunice Power and costs just €16 per person.

Each year, LOF is working with excellent wine merchandisers to select the perfect wines to match our food offering.
No admission is granted to castle garden or grounds without an opera ticket. Dining & bars are open to opera guests only. Wine can be pre-ordered to avoid disappointment. Additional wine can be purchased on the night. Guests are not allowed to bring food and drinks into the gardens.
